After posting my last post, I went down to switch laundry and filled up my water bottle to take with me while I folded clothes downstairs. Those actions reminded me of two more things I'm grateful for.
1. I'm grateful to have a creative boy. This morning, when Owen was emptying out the dishwasher, he came and showed me how he put my water bottles together. I have two water bottles (a green one and a purple one) that are both the same. They both have the water bottle and a top and bottom that come off. Each water bottle has all three parts that are the same color. I always have put all of the green parts together and all of the purple parts together. He thought he was so funny because he had put the green top and bottom on the purple water bottle and the purple top and bottom on the green water bottle. He put them away like that. When I went to get a new water bottle out, I grabbed the green water bottle with the purple top and bottom. It made me smile. I love that he thinks outside of the box. I'm interested to see what he does in life with his creativity.
2. I am also grateful to have my remodel to a point where I don't have to worry if clothes going from the washer to the dryer accidentally hit the floor. For a while, I felt like I had to re-wash everything that touched the floor because it probably had cement dust, sheetrock dust, insulation, and/or shavings of some sort on it. I can now vacuum and mop my washroom floor (or have my kids do it like I did yesterday), so I know it's clean and I can just pick up my dropped socks and put them in the dryer. I was also able to have Jo go switch my laundry earlier today and not have to worry if she would drop anything. SO nice!!
