Jo's teacher encouraged them to make their own valentines this year instead of going to the store to buy them. It turned into a huge project, but Jo was so proud of them when she was done. She really worked hard and put a lot of time and effort into them. I was proud of her.

Here she is typing all of the names into the computer so we could print them out and put them on the front of the cards.

We printed out cute poems and pictures off the computer to make the insert. Here Jo is coloring all 22 inserts. She made them all look different and unique.

Here she's assembling the cards and putting hearts that my friend cut out for her in the cards.

All the kids got in on it together. Once Owen and
Zoey saw how much fun Jo was having, they all wanted a part of it.

Owen's showing off the puffy, glittery hearts that Jo chose to put on her valentines. He loved them.

Jo gluing on more cut out hearts. This is the valentine she made for her teacher.

The finished product drying the night before Valentine's Day.

The rest of them.

Here's Zoey showing off her Scooby Doo valentines. I wasn't ready to have ALL my kids make theirs.
And Zoey filling them out. She didn't really have anyone to give them to, she just insisted that she fill them all out with her Zoey scribble.
Owen did valentines, too, but he did them when I didn't know what he was doing exactly, so I didn't get any pictures of him.

Good job Jo! That's a lot of work and they look great.
You are such a good mom!! It gives me a headache just thinking about keeping track of all of those. Jo did a great job, and I am sure she loved passing out those valentines so much more than the lame store ones. Awesome job Jo!!
