Valentine's Day

Jo's teacher encouraged them to make their own valentines this year instead of going to the store to buy them. It turned into a huge project, but Jo was so proud of them when she was done. She really worked hard and put a lot of time and effort into them. I was proud of her.
Here she is typing all of the names into the computer so we could print them out and put them on the front of the cards.
We printed out cute poems and pictures off the computer to make the insert. Here Jo is coloring all 22 inserts. She made them all look different and unique.Here she's assembling the cards and putting hearts that my friend cut out for her in the cards.All the kids got in on it together. Once Owen and Zoey saw how much fun Jo was having, they all wanted a part of it.Owen's showing off the puffy, glittery hearts that Jo chose to put on her valentines. He loved them.

Owen did valentines, too, but he did them when I didn't know what he was doing exactly, so I didn't get any pictures of him.
