My kids LOVE books. They love to look at books. They love to have books read to them. I really do love that they love books, but sometimes it is hard for me to get stuff done when they want me to read books to them. For this reason, I am loving that Josie has learned to read. I often see her with books and one of her treats is when she gets her jobs done quickly in the morning and can read until we're ready for breakfast.
Another benefit to her learning how to read is the scene above. I'm seeing it more and more. She will start out by looking at a book with Zoey or Owen and end up reading it to them. It's so nice to have someone else in the family that can read!!
I do enjoy reading. And I love reading to my kids, but it is nice to have someone else that can read as well, so when I can't get to it right then, she can.

I remember when I was in college, I always thought I would be so happy the night I found my kids reading with a flashlight under their covers. I was! It is cute to see your girls being such good friends.
