Okay, I promised Mimi that I would try to blog more. I tried to tell her that my life was boring, but she wasn't having any of it. So, here's a story from last week. I really don't like trying to decide what to have for dinner every night. It is definitely NOT the highlight of my day. So, last Monday, I asked the older kids what they wanted to have and they told me whatever I wanted. Wasn't that nice? So I sat by Zoey and asked her what she wanted for dinner. She said macaroni and cheese. I thought, "Sure, go with it." Nathan really doesn't like macaroni and cheese, but he hadn't helped come up with anything either. I asked her what she wanted with her mac and cheese. She said, "White cheese." I asked her if she wanted a casserole? She said yes. She ended up picking out tuna (over chicken) and vegetables to go in it. She helped me make a yummy casserole that everyone enjoyed (Even though Nathan did take it upon himself to start making a menu that night after dinner).

She is so proud to be helping mommy with dinner.
Here's a video of her eating "her dinner" leftovers later in the week. I think this is why she likes macaroni so much. Sorry about the sound, but you can still get the idea.

She is too cute!! You really need to get the sound fixed on your camera though.
Apparently Zander isn't the only one who has to eat his noodles one at a time, off of the tines of his fork. I love it! And kids in the kitchen is a great thing - keep teaching them!! They'll be cooking YOU dinner in no time.
She is so cute. I remember eating my noodles that way too. Good job on the updates. I expect one every hour. JK.
