Our new project

I know. I need a new project like a guy needs a new dress, but we got one anyway. We found this beauty in Craig's list. The price was right, so we went to look at it. It sounds great, but everything on it needs work. The lady that had it belt sanded through some of the verneer and we may just have to paint it instead of re-finish it. And, I don't know if you can tell from the picture, but it hangs 6 inches into our kitchen. We used to have Kim's piano up here and it fit perfectly, so we didn't even measure. We figured that a piano is a piano. Wrong! So we will be shuffling furniture around in our house. We're afraid that this means that at least part of our church bench has to go. We'll see. It will definitely be a work of progress for many days to come. If anyone has any ideas, feel free to chime in.
