Stain

Right after I got done with the last post, Matt showed up to stain. The weather says there's a 20% chance of precipitation for the next 2 days. I'm hoping it doesn't show. We decided to go ahead. It didn't take him very long to put it down, but it's a chemical reaction and it changes quite a bit over time. I need to go to the laundry mat today to do laundry, but I'll try to take pictures when I'm home. Looking at the pictures, I see a bigger difference than it shows in the pictures. It's really interesting to watch.

This picture was taken soon after Matt finished staining.From a different angle. It looks so different. I think there was more light showing.And a few minutes later.I waited for about 1/2 hour and took more pictures. I couldn't get a very good picture of the whole room, but this is looking directly down at the bottom of the stairs going down to the playroom. I think it shows how different it's starting to look.The next two pictures I took without the flash to try and get a good picture. They are pretty blurry, sorry. But you can see the good color variations.And one more. I already like it much better than with the white floors. My "hospital" is turning into a room with depth.
