Salon Sketchup

For the last few nights, Nathan and I have been working on sketching up the salon so we can get a 3-D feel for it. Here are some "pictures" we took of the sketchup.

From the south - how it would look if you could look through the wall outside in the stairwell.A view from the top.
A view of the East Wall.
And this is looking in through the door to the outside looking into the salon.
And a view of the West Wall. The doorway off to the left is the door going outside. The door off to the right goes into the playroom.

We put the floating head in there for reference to see if the person would be high enough to see in the mirror. The two dots above the mirror are where my light boxes are for lighting above the mirror. We put them in so we could center the mirror under them. The white box on the desk is to see how my printer/fax/scanner will fit. I'm planning on the floor and counters being more of a brown, but sketchup didn't give me that option. I still need to add my shampoo chair in front of the bowl, a dryer chair between the chimney and the desk, and hooks underneath the cabinet behind the outside door. We also have a few last things to finish up, but this will give an idea of what we're thinking.

Looks great! Finally, you are doing the fun part. I'm not into all that wiring, etc.
